n the darkest essence of an Orwellian “Thought Crime,” EU Parliamentarian Bruno Gollnisch has been prosecuted and threatened with prison for simply saying in a private conversation with a journalist that he leaves it up to historians to debate the Holocaust. Dr. Gollnisch did not in any way deny the Holocaust or historical crimes against Jews and he specifically said that there were obviously terrible crimes against the Jews in the war, but as far as numbers go, he simply said that he leaves it up to the historians to debate and decide the issue. So, now in France one can be prosecuted not only for stating an politically incorrect idea about an historical event of over half a century ago, one can go to prison for simply saying you don’t know enough about the subject and deferring the question to experts.
You must not only not question the dogma, but every time the subject comes up you must proclaim clearly your belief in it, or face imprisonment for simply inferring that you might somewhere in your heart of hearts dare to doubt the new religion of our times.
